Waterfowl in October
<Series 5 : Waterfowl in October>
A cloudy day in October 2020.  I've been restless for a few days.  Because, in this season of Tokachi, where I live, the temperature difference between morning and evening becomes especially large, and the broad-leaved trees in the mountains and parks burn up at once with autumn leaves.
The birch, maple, and ginkgo trees turn yellow, the Kashiwa forest is brown, and the "Japanese maple" trees are yellow, orange, crimson, crimson, or gradation.

There is a large pond in front of the Centennial Memorial Hall in Midorigaoka Park, Obihiro City, where you can observe the waterfowl raising their children. In late autumn, while the Japanese maple trees that grew around the pond turned red, parents and children and paired ducks were spending their time calmly.

Title:  Midorigaoka Park in Obihiro City

Midorigaoka Park(緑ヶ丘公園) in Obihiro City, Hokkaido, Japan is located in the center of the city and is a park that is loved by citizens, given its vast site of 50.5 hectares.  The park has public facilities such as a children's amusement park, Park golf course, and tennis courts, as well as cultural facilities such as the Centennial Memorial Hall(百年記念館) and museums.  The deep forest along the garden is full of giant elm, oak and birch trees, and the forest from late spring to summer is full of fresh green light.  There, a new life is revived, giving walkers the power to live.  Midorigaoka Park is a heritage of Hokkaido with excellent landscaping value.
