Bumblebees on Poppies

It has wings smaller than its body and emits a distinctive flight sound. In English, it is described as a bumble (an onomatopoeic "buzzing" sound of the wings).

The cute bee depicted holding a jar of honey in the illustration of Disney's "Winnie the Pooh" is said to be a bumblebee rather than a honeybee because of its color pattern, indicating that bumblebees are familiar in Western culture.
The name "Dumbledore" of Albus Dumbledore, principal of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the Harry Potter series means "bumblebee" in the old Devonian language. Author J.K. Rowling named him "Dumbledore" after the image of the music-loving man humming as he walked along.

☘️
The colorful poppies that bloom in my garden are a favorite of this bumblebee. The flowers fall off in the evening, but they fly over the poppy blossoms first thing in the morning. The sound of their buzzing flight is a summer tradition in my house.
