Roses
- One Dream Canvas
I had a dream. I dreamed that I painted colorful flowers on a large white wall. The seasons reflected through the window changed awkwardly, like a flip-flop comic strip. I took out a picture and put it in my favorite frame.
I had a dream. A picture of the flowers, birds, squirrels, and mountains that were supposed to be in a frame was taken away by fairies into the forest. I continued painting flowers on a white canvas, knowing the fairies would take them away again.
One Dream Canvas
I had a dream,
On white walls, flowers did gleam,
Summer's sparkle, hues agleam.

The flowers were roses,
Canvas imbued with damask's fragrance,
Light streamed through the skylight, a radiant dance.

I had a dream,
On white walls, flowers did gleam,
Late summer's transition, colors extreme.

Canvas adorned with the scent of autumn's grace,
Swaying figures, like amber trees in their embrace.
