Fairy Forest
- 春:Wild Grass Garden (Obihiro City Wild Grass Garden, Hokkaido, Japan) -
Since its opening in 1958, the Obihiro City Wild Plant Garden has long been a favorite place for Obihiro citizens to experience nature with their children. The original landscape from before the Tokachi pioneering period has been preserved, and approximately 375 species of wildflowers in 82 families grow wild in the 43,530 square meters  garden. Visitors can observe plants that change their appearance with the seasons, and the park is also a walking course for citizens. A caretaker is always on duty to guide visitors around the park and explain about the plants.

Spring in Hokkaido begins with the late thaw of the snow. In early April, Japanese Butterbur sprouts from the snow that remains here and there, signaling the beginning of the season when all the trees and plants that have endured the long winter sprout and bloom with colorful flowers. In summer, the trees grow thick and provide shade and coolness to visitors. Although the conditions are not ideal for flowers and grasses in such shade, they bloom vigorously. In autumn, trees turn red and gradually lose their leaves for the winter. On the other hand, flowers and grasses bloom with their last remaining energy before winter arrives.
